Author FAQ
We’re Cypress’s first and only romance-exclusive independent bookstore — and we’re building something special. We’d love to feature your work.
We are a romance-focused independent bookstore, specifically featuring the categories of adult contemporary, romantasy, western and sports romance. We support both traditionally published authors and independent authors. If you have an interest in being featured on our “Independent Author” shelf, please fill out the author submission form below and we will contact you. This form is the only tool we will use for author outreach. No DM’s please.
Yes, we will offer both in-store and offsite large-scale signing opportunities on a scheduled calendar for authors featured in our store. These events can include event/launch release, pre-order campaigns, ticketed events, elevated merchandise partnerships and media production opportunities. In addition, we will offer weekend “pop up” events for independent romance authors to promote your latest release. These events will occur during designated store hours. Pop up authors will be contacted when space becomes available.
Yes! You can join our Independent author “X&O: Let’s Grow” program. More specific details will be available when business operations begin.
